The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) offers a list of courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. The flagship programme of IIT Delhi is BTech which is offered in 14 different specialisations. Admission to Bachelor of Technology (BTech) is granted on the basis of JEE Advanced followed by JoSAA counselling. Furthermore, MTech, MSc and MDes programmes are offered by IIT Delhi through the GATE, IIT JAM, and CEED scores. The seat allotment for BTech, MTech, and MSc courses is carried out through respective counselling bodies.

IIT Delhi BTech Admission 2025
18 courses4 – 5 years
IIT Delhi offers a full-time Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programme with a duration of four years. Eligible students must have good scores in the JEE Advanced exam for BTech at IIT Delhi. Shortlisted candidates are allotted seats through JoSAA counselling.
BTech at IIT Delhi is available across 14 specialisations, namely CSE, Mathematics & Computing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering (Power and Automation), Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Engineering Physics, among others. Out of all these, CSE and Mathematics & Computing Engineering are the most competitive specialisations basis their cutoff.
IIT Delhi MTech Admission 2025
The IIT Delhi MTech course is spread across four semesters. The programme is offered across different specialisations. IIT Delhi MTech admission is done based on the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score. Shortlisted candidates based on exam scores have to go through COAP counselling for final seat allotment.

IIT Delhi Application Process 2025
The IIT Delhi application process is carried out online mode. An application is completed only after the payment of the required application fee. Candidates shall ensure that all the details are mentioned in the application correctly. Some of the popular courses along with the respective application procedures are explained below:
- For BTech course admission, aspirants need to complete the application form for JEE (Main) through the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) (nta.ac.in).
