Admission Process and Important Dates 2025

IIT Hyderabad Admission Process

Admissions at Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad are offered for B.Tech, B.Des, M.Tech, M.Sc, M.A, M.Phil and PhD programmes.
The GATE 2026 examination for IIT Hyderabad M.Tech admissions will be conducted on February 7, 8, 14 and 15, 2026.

A roll number will be generated upon receiving the student’s fee payment confirmation, which will be transmitted to the student via email (which is as per IITH records). The roll number is required for AIMS (Academic Institute Management System) portal academic registration.

8: As shown in the offer letter, do I need to pay the total amount of the semester fee?

Before the resumption of offline classes after normalcy is restored, you are not expected to pay the hostel lodging, mess fees and medical facilities.
