Admission Process and Important Dates 2025
NIT Calicut Admission Process
National Institute of Technology Calicut admissions are offered in three levels of programmes which include undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. NIT Calicut admissions are offered full-time mode courses. Before applying to NIT Calicut admissions the candidate should appear for the relevant entrance examination.
- Candidates are offered admission at NIT Calicut based on performance in the entrance exam.
- Total BTech seat intake is 303 as per the NIT Calicut JoSAA 2025 seat matrix.
- Entrance Exams Accepted for NIT Calicut Admissions: JEE Main for BTech, JAM scores for MSc admissions, NIMCET for MCA admissions, GATE for MTech admissions and CAT for MBA admissions.
- NIT Calicut Counselling: JoSAA counselling is conducted for BTech admissions. CSAB counselling is conducted if seats are vacant after JoSAA counselling. CCMT counselling is conducted for MTech admission, and CCMN counselling for MSc admissions.
