Students at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Delhi can apply to various government-funded scholarships. NIT Delhi scholarships include UGC, AICTE, central and state scholarships available on the National Scholarship Portal. The National Institute of Technology Delhi scholarship process includes offline submission of the NIT Delhi scholarship form along with relevant documents three weeks before the deadline.
Once submitted, the application will be verified and will be sent to the nodal officer, then to the chairman and director. The Institute shall verify the candidate scholarship application form on the portal and will send the application form to the concerned. NIT Delhi scholarships that students can apply for are Scholarships for Top Class Education for students with disabilities, Top Class Education Scheme for SC Students, ISHAN UDAY- Special Scholarship Scheme for North Eastern Region, Post Matric Scheme For Award of Scholarships Under LSDM Welfare Fund to name a few.

| Central sector scheme of scholarships for College and University Students | Students who secure more than 80% marks in 10+2 examination and parental/family income upto Rs.4.5 lakh per annum. | The rate of scholarship is Rs.12,000/-per annum at the Graduation level for the first three years of College and University courses and Rs.20,000/-per annum at the graduation level.
