VIT Vellore Cutoff 2024 (Expected)
VIT Vellore cutoff is expected to be released by the institute after the result announcement on May 3, 2024. It’s highly unlikely that VIT Vellore cut off will be released officially, however, if it’s released, it will be released in the form of opening and closing ranks, also called OR and CR. VIT cutoff for UG engineering admissions is based on VITEEE. Based on the official cutoff data from the past years, VIT Vellore cutoff (expected) for the year 2024 for B.Tech CSE is highly likely to be between 7000-8000. For B.Tech IT, the cutoff can be expected to be between 12000 to 13000 ranks. For B.Tech Civil Engineering, the VIT cut off will most likely be between 35000 to 37000. Furthermore, the VIT Vellore expected cutoff ranks in 2024 for Mechanical Engineering will be 19500 to 20000. Test takers eyeing a seat in B.Tech ECE will have to secure a rank between 14500-15000 for admissions.

VIT Vellore Cutoff Trends
VIT Vellore cutoff for MAT remained constant at 80 percentile across both 2022 and 2023. Similar to MAT, the cutoff for VIT Vellore through XAT also remained stable at 70 percentile for both 2022 and 2023. Apart from that, it can be analysed that the closing ranks for Computer Science & Engineering have dropped significantly from 950 in 2022 to 8000 in 2023. The biggest decrease has been seen in case of CSE which has decreased from 2800 rank in 2022 to 16000 in 2023.
