VNRVJIET Scholarships: Students’ Opinion
The VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology adheres to the Telangana government’s fee reimbursement policies. Students who achieve a rank below 10,000 in the TS EAMCET are eligible for full tuition fee reimbursement if their family income is under 1.5 lakh, except if their parents are government employees. The annual fee of Rs. 1,46,000 includes Rs. 1,35,000 as tuition fees and Rs. 10,100 as other fees. Additional fees, such as a Rs.
1,36,000 hostel fee and Rs. 20,000-45,000 transport fee, are applicable. The college does not provide scholarships directly but aids students in securing government scholarships. Scholarships vary based on caste and merit, with specific provisions for SC/ST full reimbursement and OBC students receiving Rs. 35,000. NRI students have a different fee structure, approximately $5000 per year. Education loans are available through various banks, supported by the college.
