About JEE Advanced 2025
JEE Advanced 2025: IIT Kanpur has announced the JEE Advanced 2025 exam dates for all events at jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates must check the exam date of JEE Advanced 2025 to avoid missing any important events. The authority will commence the JEE Advanced 2025 registration on April 23, 2025. Applicants who qualify the JEE Main exam and are among the top 2,50,000 candidates will be eligible to apply for IIT JEE Advanced. However, it is important to fulfil the other eligibility conditions to fill out the application form online. The registered candidates will be issued JEE Advanced admit cards on May 11, 2025. IIT Kanpur will conduct the JEE Advanced 2025 exam on May 18, 2025.
The authorities have revised the JEE Advanced eligibility criteria. As per the revised JEE Advanced eligibility criteria, the number of attempts has been reduced to two. Aspirants can check the syllabus for JEE Adv 2025 online. The authority launched the 2025 official website for JEE Advanced entrance exam on November 5, 2024.

JEE Advanced 2025 Eligibility Criteria
IIT Kanpur revised JEE Advanced 2025 eligibility criteria for Indian nationals, OCI/PIO candidates and foreign nationals. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria of JEE Advanced 2025 to know the minimum conditions required to apply for the test. JEE Advanced eligibility criteria comprise age limit, education qualification, number of attempts, and more. Candidates who are found ineligible will be disqualified from IIT JEE Advanced admission.

JEE Main | The candidates should have qualified the JEE Main exam and must be in the top 2,50,000 candidates in order of merit. Overall 10% general EWS category candidates will be shortlisted, 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, and the remaining 40.5% is OPEN for all. Candidates willing to appear for the JEE Advanced AAT 2025 exam have to meet certain criteria as prescribed by the authorities. Firstly, the candidates should have attempted the JEE Main exam and qualified for the JEE Advanced exam 2025. Candidates must have secured the required cutoff to have higher chances of admission.

How to fill JEE Advanced Application Form 2025?
Registration – Firstly, candidates have to complete the JEE Advanced registration. Candidates have to provide the JEE Main 2025 roll number and password to log in. The details of candidates will be automatically added to the portal of IIT JEE Advanced.
Uploading of Documents – Next, the candidates have to add the required documents and upload them as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities for the JEE Advanced entrance exam. The required documents are a class 10 certificate/birth certificate, class 12 mark sheet, and category certificate (if applicable).
Application fee payment – Candidates have to pay the registration fee in online mode through net banking/credit card/debit card or offline mode (cash using the SBI option). The fee is different as per the category that the candidate belongs to.

Submission and Print Out of Confirmation Page – Finally, the candidates have to submit the application form and print out the confirmation page for further reference.
JEE Advanced AAT Application Form 2025
Candidates who qualify for the JEE Advanced 2025 exam and want to take admission in architecture courses in IITs have to appear for the JEE Advanced AAT 2025 (Architecture Aptitude Test). The application form of JEE Advanced AAT 2025 will be released in online mode by the admission authorities. It is to be noted that only those candidates who qualify for the IIT JEE Advanced, will be able to fill the application form.
Registration Steps for JEE Advanced AAT 2025
- Candidates will have to visit the JEE Advanced 2025 candidate portal for AAT and enter their JEE Advanced 2025 registration number, date of birth, mobile number and email address, the candidates would have to log in to register for the examination.
- For the question “Are you Interested in AAT 2025?”, the candidates will have to select their option of “Yes” or “No”.
- Exam centres have to be selected according to the candidate’s choice (International centres will not be applicable)
- Candidates have to enter various details as required to be submitted.
- After checking all of the details, the candidates have to submit the application form.

JEE Advanced 2025 Cutoff
The authorities will release the JEE Advanced 2025 cutoff along with the declaration of the exam result. Candidates will be able to access the JEE Advanced cutoff 2025 from the website – jeeadv.ac.in. The cutoff for JEE Advanced 2025 acts as the screening process for inclusion in the rank list and admission to the IITs. There are two types of cutoffs – qualifying cutoff and admission cutoff. The qualifying cutoff of JEE Advanced consists of the minimum marks that the candidates have to secure to be listed in the JEE Advanced 2025 rank list. The admission cutoff is the minimum rank that the candidates will have to secure to have higher chances of admission into the participating institutes. The cutoff will be different as per the category, course, and institute selected by the candidates when applying for the IIT JEE Advanced.

JEE Advanced 2025 Counselling Process
Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is responsible for conducting the counselling for admission of JEE Advanced entrance exam qualified candidates. The authorities will announce the counselling dates for admission into IITs in coordination with the IITs and their seat matrix will be uploaded at josaa.nic.in. The authorities will release the JoSAA 2025 seat allotment phase wise on its official website. Candidates will have to register and complete the choice filling of colleges and courses for the JoSAA counselling and seat allotment process. Candidates will be allotted seats in the participating IITs according to their secured ranks, preferences and availability of seats.
