JEE Main Exam 2025 – The National Testing Agency has announced the JEE Main 2025 exam date for session 1. The authority will conduct the JEE Mains exam for paper 1 on January 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29, 2025 while the B.Arch paper will be held on January 30, 2025. The JEE Main 2025 city intimation slip is expected in the first week of January 2025. The JEE Main city intimation slip link will be activated on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Afterwards, the JEE Main 2025 admit card for the January session will be available from January 19, 2025, or three days before the exam. Candidates will be able to download the admit card for JEE Main 2025 from January 19 to January 30, 2025. The exam will be held across 284 test cities in India and 15 outside India. The JEE April exam is scheduled from April 1 to 8.
Candidates who have successfully filled out the application form could access the JEE Main application form correction window. Applicants must have passed or are appearing for the class 12 exam from a recognized board to be eligible to apply for the JEE Main 2025 exam. The authority conducted the JEE Main 2025 registration process from October 28 to November 22, 2024 in online mode.
Aspirants can check the JEE Main syllabus 2025 on the website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. To prepare for the entrance test, candidates must be familiar with the JEE Mains exam pattern and syllabus. The authority has revised the JEE Main 2025 exam pattern for section B of Paper 2A and 2B. There will be 5 compulsory questions in the JEE paper section B. Applicants can solve the JEE Mains question paper with solutions for self-assessment and revision. Moreover, attempting the JEE mock test will help to get familiar with the online exam platform and also improve time management skills.

JEE Main 2025 Eligibility Criteria
National Testing Agency has released the JEE Main 2025 eligibility criteria on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates who qualify the class 10+2 exam from a recognized board can apply for the JEE Mains 2025 exam. Moreover, it is informed that JEE Main eligibility marks in 12th are not required for appearing in JEE Mains 2025. The 75% mark is required while taking admission to the participating institutes. For SC / ST candidates, the qualifying marks should be 65%.
JEE Main exam eligibility criteria consist of age limit, compulsory academic details, mandatory subject in class 12, minimum percentage, and more. The eligible candidates can complete the JEE Main registration online. However, candidates appearing in class 12 with results awaiting are also eligible to apply. Candidates must be among the top 2,50,000 in NTA JEE Main Paper-1 to be eligible for JEE Advanced 2025.

The JEE Main 2025 January session application form filling process concluded on November 22, 2024. The authority concluded the JEE Main 2025 registration session 1 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The eligible candidates were able to fill the application form of JEE Main 2025 online. The application process consisted of registration, form filling, uploading documents, and payment of registration fees. After the payment of JEE registration fee, the form was submitted successfully.

JEE Main 2025 Cutoff
NTA will release the JEE Main 2025 cutoff along with the result. The minimum score required to qualify the NTA JEE Main exam is the cutoff of JEE Main 2025. Candidates must know that the qualifying cutoff and admission cutoff for JEE Main 2025 are different. The minimum mark required to fetch a seat in the JEE Main participating institutes is the admission cutoff. JEE Main 2025 cutoff will vary for several categories, branches, and institutes.

JEE Main 2025 Counselling Process
JoSAA will release the JEE Main 2025 counselling notification on the official website, josaa.nic.in. Candidates qualifying the JEE Main exam 2025 have to complete the JoSAA counselling registration and choice filling process online. The authorities shall conduct five rounds of counselling. The authorities will conduct the seat allotment process based on the number of students who applied for a particular course, the number of seats available, and the rank of the candidates.

Candidates have to follow the below mentioned steps for the JEE Main 2025 counselling and choice-filling process:
- Firstly, visit the JoSAA official website – josaa.nic.in
- Click on the JoSAA counselling registration link
- On the candidate login page, enter the JEE Main 2025 application number and password.
- Once registered, the candidate’s details will be available on the screens
- Preview the details and complete the initial registration.
- After registration, candidates have to fill in choices of college and course as per their preference.
- Candidates are advised to fill as many choices as possible.
- Once the choice filling is completed, candidates have to lock their filled choices before the last date.
- The authorities will release the JoSAA seat allotment result round-wise on the official website.
NOTE: After the last round is completed, candidates must report to the institutes to complete their admission formalities by paying the balance fee and submitting the requisite documents to the allotted institute.
