FTBI-NIT Rourkela Honoured with Bharat Incubator Award 2025
The Foundation for Technology & Business Incubation (FTBI), NIT Rourkela, has been conferred with the prestigious Bharat Incubator Award 2025 at the 4th Bharat Entrepreneurship Summit held in New Delhi on 13th September 2025. The award was received by Prof. Subrata Kumar Panda, President FTBI, and Mr. Chiranjibi Samal, CEO FTBI, on behalf of the institute. FTBI was among the six leading incubators selected from across India for this honour, recognizing their outstanding contributions to nurturing innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup growth. The ceremony witnessed the presence of Ministry officials, visionary leaders, and delegates from across the country, making the recognition even more significant. On this proud occasion, Prof. Subrata Kumar Panda expressed gratitude to all stakeholders, while Mr. Chiranjibi Samal dedicated the award to the relentless efforts of startups, mentors, and partners. Both highlighted that this achievement reflects the collaborative ecosystem built at NIT Rourkela. A special note of thanks was extended to Prof. K. Umamaheswar Rao, Director, NIT Rourkela, for his constant support and encouragement, which has been the driving force behind FTBI’s journey. The award was presented by the Entrepreneurs Association of India at the NDMC Convention Centre, New Delhi, celebrating the impact of incubators in shaping India’s entrepreneurial landscape.
