IIT Patna Scholarships
IIT Patna scholarship offers Central Scheme Scholarships, State Scheme Scholarship, UGC Scheme Scholarship, Institute Scheme Scholarship, Academic Excellence Awards/Donor Scholarships, National Fellowship and Scholarships for Higher Education for ST students from the academic year 2023-24. IIT Patna provides various scholarship schemes to its undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students. The institute believes in making high-quality education accessible to all by offering financial assistance to meritorious and minority candidates.
They can avail of financial assistance schemes by fulfilling the eligibility criteria specified by the institute. Indian Institute of Technology, Patna scholarships are presented to students in the form of tuition fee waivers, fellowships, and field-work grants. IIT Patna also offers scholarships to encourage students from reserved categories, the North Eastern (NE) region, and candidates with weak economic backgrounds. The five primary IIT Patna scholarship schemes, awarded by the institute, include central, state, UGC, institute, and academic excellence awards. Students with outstanding all-round performance, leadership qualities, and excellent organisational abilities also receive donor scholarships from IIT Patna.

The Institute of Excellence ensures promoting equality with its need-based and merit-based financial assistance scheme plans. However, candidates must be qualified to avail the scholarships in the subsequent semesters by maintaining an academic record fixed by the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna.
