Indian Institute of Technology Bombay has not released the 2025 placement statistics yet. Check the available details of IIT Bombay placements below.

• According to the NIRF 2025 overall report, 731 UG 4-year students were placed with a median package of Rs 19.61 LPA. The median salary package for PG 2-year students is Rs 17.30 LPA in IITB placements. 
• 543 companies registered, of these 388 participated in the placements, and 364 companies made offers during placements at IIT Bombay in 2024.
• Students got placed with the IIT Bombay highest package of Rs 1.68 crores during the placement drive 2023-24.
• For UG students, the IITB average salary package was Rs 21.82 lakhs

Indian Institute of Technology Bombay has released placements for 2023-24. There was a 12% increase in the number of recruiting companies. IIT Bombay average package offered to students is Rs 23.50 LPA. In IIT Bombay placements 2023-24, 1650 job offers were made, and 78 international offers were made. For UG students, IIT Bombay highest package stood at Rs 1.68 crores. In the year 2023-24, 90% of BS students were placed as per the IIT Bombay placement reports, and 88% of B.Tech students were placed. During IIT Bombay placements, around 40 companies conducted interviews in two slots. 

On day one, there was an 80% increase in regular recruiters compared to the previous year’s placement drives in IIT Bombay. Top companies such as Procter and Gamble, Sony Japan, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, and Tata Group participated in the IIT Bombay placements. Indian Institute of Technology Bombay has a dedicated training and placement cell that manages all placement activities on campus. 

IIT Bombay Placements 2025

Indian Institute of Technology Bombay has not released IIT Bombay placement report 2025 yet. However, according to the NIRF 2025 overall report, 731 UG 4-year students were placed with IIT Bombay median package of Rs 19.61 LPA. 156 UG 5-year students were placed during IIT Bombay placements 2024 with the median package of Rs 19.25 LPA.
