IIT Delhi Scholarships
Indian Institute of Technology Delhi scholarships provide financial aid to students who need financial assistance. Apart from SC/ST/PwD students, scholarships are also awarded to meritorious students. IIT Delhi scholarships also include merit prizes to deserving candidates, such as toppers of the departments. Scholarships are awarded to fellow IIT Delhi students who have fulfilled the eligibility criteria stated by the institute or the sponsoring party/industry. IIT Delhi Scholarships 2025
IIT Delhi scholarships are offered to undergraduate, post-graduate and Ph.D programme students. The PhD students are offered financial assistance through a Teaching/Research Assistantship.
IIT Delhi UG Scholarships and Eligibility Criteria

| Merit-cum-Means (MCM) Scholarships | For the General/OBC/EWS students of engineering and technology. |
| Institute Merit Prizes and Certificates: | The eligible students are top 7% of the 4-year B.Tech programme and 5-year Dual-Degree Programme, of each semester till the 8th/10th semester. |
| Institute Free Studentship | Institute gives scholarship to 10% of the students on means basis. |
| Donor Scholarships | These scholarships are offered by organisations, individuals, and trusts. |
| Scholarship for SC, ST & PD students | All SC/ST/PD students are exempted from tuition fee, irrespective of the income of their parents/guardians. |
IIT Delhi Scholarship for PG programmes
| Course | Scholarship Details |
| M.Sc Programmes | As per the government rules, this scholarship is offered only to those students whose parents’ gross income is less than Rs 4.5 lakhs per annum. |
| M.Tech., M.S. (Research) and M.Des. Students | No scholarship is available for the students in this category. However, there are scholarships and fellowships offered by industries and individuals for these students. |
| Ph.D Students | There is no scholarship offered to these candidates. However, the institute offers Teaching/Research Assistantship for the full-time students. |
