ICT Mumbai Scholarships: Students’ Opinion
The Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai, provides a variety of scholarships and financial aid options. Students qualifying for exams like GATE receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 12,400. The Sandra Shroff Scholarship awards Rs. 10,000, and scholarships from Asian Paints range from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 50,000 based on merit and income criteria. Government scholarships, such as those from MAHADBT, cover full tuition fees for SC/ST and OBC students from Maharashtra.
Various alumni and industry-funded scholarships are available, ranging from Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 10,000 monthly. The college offers merit-cum-means scholarships and fee exemptions for economically disadvantaged and reserved category students. Interest-free loans are also provided by the alumni association. The fee structure is affordable, with general category fees around Rs. 80,000 annually, while reserved category fees are significantly lower.
