RNSIT Scholarships: Students’ Opinion
RNS Institute of Technology offers various financial assistance options, primarily through government scholarships rather than college-provided scholarships. Scholarships are available for Karnataka students, particularly those from reserved categories like SC/ST and OBC, as well as students who score well in the KCET exam. Programs like the SSP and Vidya Siri provide up to INR 30,000 for eligible students. COMEDK students and those from outside Karnataka do not typically receive these scholarships.
The college supports scholarship applications by providing necessary documentation. Education loans are facilitated through banks like Canara Bank, located on campus. Tuition fees vary based on the mode of admission, with KCET students paying lower fees (around INR 95,000 to 1,12,500 annually) compared to COMEDK students (around INR 2,64,000 annually). Management quota fees are significantly higher, ranging from INR 2.5 to 7.5 lakhs per year.
